Astronomy for kids

Newstar Astronomy for Kids

As part of Newstar’s community outreach, every year Newstar celebrates National Astronomy Day twice each year. Once in the spring and one more time in the fall. Astronomy Day is for both children and adults. We encourage anyone with an interest in astronomy to come check the club’s telescopes and interact with the club members.

As part of our dedication to passing on our enthusiasm for the stars to kids, we put together this web page to help kids explore astronomy online through the links below and through another page filled with links to videos created for kids.
